MAS 1892 Revolver 8mm - Last French Antique Revolver

The last french military revolver to be considered a prescribed antique, the MAS 1892 was a big improvement to the 1873 and 1874 Chamelot-Delvigne revolvers made by the Manufacture d’armes de Saint-Étienne (MAS).

The 1892 was chambered with a new cartridge of 8mm replacing the weak 11mm that was chambering both 1873 and 1874 models.

The Swiss Model 1882 Ordnance Antique Revolver

 

The Swiss Model 1882 Ordnance Revolver was designed by Colonel Rudolph Schmidt and manufactured by the government-owned corporation Waffenfabrik in Bern, Switzerland between 1882 and 1929.

These well made double action revolvers of the 19th century were chambered for the 7.5 Ordnance cartridge (7.5 mm) and have been in service with the Swiss Army until 1949.

Swedish M1887 Husqvarna Nagant Antique Revolver

The Swedish M1887 Husqvarna Nagant Revolver is a rarer antique revolver since the original contracted order of 2600 Nagant Model 1887 to equip the Swedish Army was manufactured by the Fabrique d’armes Émile et Léon Nagant of Belgium, and the Husqvarna M1887 Nagant revolver was manufactured starting only in 1897 in Sweden.

This beautiful Nagant six shots double action revolver was using the 7.5mm Swedish Nagant cartridge.

There were only 350 of these revolvers manufactured in 1897, making this a very rare antique revolver for Canadian collectors.

American collectors have a better chance to get one of these real nice antiques since 5750 were manufactured before 1899, and many offered on the market are in excellent condition.

Interesting and Rare British Antique Revolver

 

This interesting and rare British Revolver is a Schlund Double-Trigger .476 Revolver made by Kynoch in Aston. I saw this beauty for sale on AdamsGuns.com today, and I am sure it won't stay there long before an antique revolver collector picks it up!
